For emergency situations where a supply of Breathing Air needed, this K3S Survival Supply System provides a compact, unit which is easily stowed around the person or on such as, a wall or bulkhead mounting.

The K3S Unit consists a small high-pressure cylinder of convenient size; say .5 of 1 litre capacity, and fill pressure of up to 300 bar. The basic unit can be fitted to any smaller or larger size of cylinder, of any capacity to suit any particular type of use.

A Pressure Regulator, using a KIM-04 Supply Pressure Module, is mounted at the neck of the cylinder, together with a Co-axial Stop Valve. Integral with the Pressure Regulator is a Filler Connection a Tactile Contents Indicator, and a Burst Disc.

A Reactive Breathing Valve provides air to the user, in proportion to demand.

The KIM-type Pressure Regulator provides a level and stable pressure supply, which ensures up to 30% greater breathing capacity than can normally be expected from a cylinder of equivalent size. The use of a Luxfer lightweight wrapped cylinder, provides a compact, strong and easily handled unit.
