The Helicopter Escape Valve is a radical item of emergency safety equipment. The main body consists of a Pressure Regulator, a Stop Valve -cum - Pressure Relief Valve and a Tactile Contents Indicator. The Breathing Valve, which is shown without a mouth piece for clarity of presentation, is plugged into the Pressure Regulator.

Upon removal of the mouthpiece airflow commences. As the user will now be immersed in water the airflow at unplugging clears the Breathing Valve, giving a clean first breath
